Inspection Reports

The Independent School Inspectorate (ISI) awarded the highest rating available to The Chorister School in January 2017.  Schools are rated on a scale from ‘Unsatisfactory’, ‘Sound’, ‘Good’ to ‘Excellent’.  We were found to be ‘Excellent’ in all areas.

From the Chairman of the Governing Body:

It is with delight, pleasure and pride that I invite you to read the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) report following their inspection of The Chorister School in January.

From start to finish the report rightly reflects the outstanding quality of the education provided at The Chorister School and the very highest standards of attainment achieved by our pupils. It is a remarkable reflection on the dedication and professionalism of all the staff, and on the exceptional leadership given by the Headmistress, Mrs Day.

The ISI Inspection falls into two parts: Regulatory Compliance & Quality of Education. In the first of these, I am pleased to say that the school met all its regulatory compliance requirements. The second area of inspection considered educational achievement and personal development. I am delighted that in both areas The Chorister School is deemed to be ‘excellent’, the highest judgment inspectors can make.
